Gippsland Food & Wine operates in compliance with the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 and is committed to the responsible sale and supply of alcohol. By purchasing liquor from our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Legal Age Requirement:

• It is an offense to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (a minor).
• It is an offense for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive alcohol.
• Proof of age (e.g. driver's license, passport, or proof of age card) may be required upon delivery or pick-up.

2. Responsible Service of Alcohol

• We reserve the right to refuse the sale or delivery of liquor if we believe that:
  • The purchaser or recipient is under 18 years old.
  • The liquor is intended to be supplied to a minor.
  • The purchaser or recipient is intoxicated.

3. Delivery Requirements

• Alcohol deliveries must be received by an adult (18+ years).
• If no valid proof of age is provided upon request, the delivery will be refused and a re-delivery or cancellation fee may apply. 

4. Offenses & Penalties

Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998:

• Supplying alcohol to a minor can result in significant fines.
• Minors purchasing or attempting to purchase alcohol may also face penalties.

5. Compliance & Reporting

• We comply with all sate and federal laws regarding liquor sales.
• Any suspected breaches of the law will be reported to the relevant authorities.

By purchasing liquor from Gippsland Food & Wine, you confirm that you understand and agree to comply with these terms. 

If ordering products or hampers containing alcohol, you confirm that you are over the age of 18 years. It is a legal requirement that the person placing the order is over the age of 18 and the person receiving the delivery is over the age of 18. Upon delivery of goods, the courier driver may ask for identification for proof of age before handing over goods.
